I was wondering what a straight piped 6.2L sounds like. does it sound good? does it give the truck more power? is it worth doing?

Sounds like a big block 400 straight piped.

I had stock size straight pipes on a 82 blazer (dont do this if you have a blazer....way to loud inside on interstate) Not sure what larger size pipe is like.

It did seem to help a little with power.

Oh gotcha, no the NBS trucks had single 2.75, just like the 6.5s.

Extremely loud, be sure to have a loud stereo or when your running at 60 you wont be able to hear it. Yes it is worth doing.

And one thing I hope everyone knows, if you use cherry bombs as your glass packs there are two different sounds you can get out of them by flipping them one way or the other. One way mellow and smooth with a little rasp, the other loud and with blats.

My turbocharged 6.2L is straight piped, and it sounds friggin' awesome! Absolute cop magnet though, can't drive on the street without fear of getting pulled over by every single interceptor you pass

My turbo 6.2 sounded pretty good. I had 3" straight pipe all the way out. I never got pulled over for loud exhaust.

Hey Im back and this is what Im looking for . Duals and what mufflers unless they make a Y pipe for 6.2s. My yes my original duals is descaling {rusting} and a few days ago the inlet pipe on the drivers side twisted off . Any good place sell Dual kits that you know of. I really liked the second part of the video of you turning and going up the shifts .Sounds nice .

Thanks
