I have a 2006 Chevy 5500 and the brake chime goes off, but resets after I restart the truck. I've tried to a new fluid level sensor and new brake switch. they didn't fix it. Has anyone else had this problem

I had the brake chime go off. Started happening when hitting brake pedal several times at slow approach to a stop light. Finally stayed on. Found the connector under master cylinder was not making proper contact. This is the hydro boost switch. Have not had problem since.
Another item that causes this is using brake switch to operate a Brake Controller. Check out this thread Emergency Brake Light and Ding (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=279777).

10-4 will gm dealership not help u on at least telling u whats wrong? ill can that guy i know tomarrow and see if hes there and has any idea
