Anyone have any info or guess about hp/torq for the 2007 7.5L V10. With all the Big 3 possibly having to come out with new or improved engines in 2007, looks like I'll be waiting for more info before I jump into getting a new truck.

If they call me before deciding on the hp and tq I will recoomend 500hp and 650tq.):h
More than likely they will just edge by the current Dodge and Ford numbers what ever they are. These guys like to one up each other and if it were me I would just plain old blow them away with the #'s I suggested.

Ford has the top spot for now, with new 3 valves head on the thier V10 with 365hp, and there's rumor that they may come with fill-in hotrod with a S/C V10 in F350 chassis at 520hp until they come out with the new L, supposely with this S/C V10.

So thats what the general is up against. But heard their an LS2 based 6.0 being readied for the truck with some "new" heads may be 3 valve pushrod, who knows. LS2 based V10 with deep-skirt block and 6-bolt mains. Just screams turbo. Can't wait.

I'll keep my 8.1..... V-10's sound like crap with aftermarket exhaust installed, sounds like straight 6.... ewwwww

I feel that it will be a sad day when you can't get a big block V8. Just saying V10 makes me feel sad. Maybe it's that I ride around in an F-550 with the V10 at work. 51,000 miles, uses oil, and it's a far cry from being a neck snapper.
