: ** Pulling a Goose, with a lift? **
MOBANN1 04-21-2009, 09:51 AM Well I'm pretty sure I want to go with a 4-6 Cognito, the only problem is that, I pull a gooseneck every once in awhile and would hate to lose that ability because of the lift.
Now I know some of you pull 5'ers but that's still kinda different.
So do any of you pull goosenecks with a lift? If so do you have any pics?
Doesn't necessarily have to be an LMM.

BOW HUNTER 04-21-2009, 10:21 AM I think you'll be fine. I'm installing a tuff country 4 inch tomorrow and will let you know.

dodgedsl03 04-21-2009, 09:20 PM I have a 4" on my 1999 f-350 single wheel and i pull mine 1 or twice a week. I have 6" on my dmax and it don't sit as high as my ford with a 4". No promblems but you have to watch when the back of the trailer would go down making it closer to your bed. I use mine off road going into fields and you have to be careful now this is also depending on how you trailer is built and how high it sits also the adjustability in the goose.
MOBANN1 04-21-2009, 09:41 PM Thanks sierra boy!
I just might go with a 6-8 cognito now. :ro)

radaram 04-22-2009, 11:55 AM My old truck had a 6" fabtech with 35" BFG's and I had no problem at all with clearance. I even had my airbags aired up some so the truck was even taller in the rear and it was still ok. Hope this helps.
Wooter 04-22-2009, 12:53 PM pull a goose all the time with mine tuff country 4 inch with 4 inch blocks in rear. no problems at all

BOW HUNTER 04-23-2009, 07:53 PM Got my lift installed this morning, I have a post going if you want to see more pics. I didn't hook up to my trailer but the neck is about where the ball would be. I'm sure she'll squat some but a quick reference for you.
