No power no lights no nothin. Installing guages and a wrench sparked on the alternator power wire. Could the ecm be fried? Would it cause all that?

I'd be looking for a blown 175 amp bolt-in fuse where the positive cable is bolted to the under hood fuse panel. IIRC, you'll have to remove the arc shaped fender brace to get the lower cover off. Use a 13mm socket to remove all 4 screws, remove the brace, the pull the lower cover by placing your hand under it's inner lip and, while pulling the lip toward the engine, lift the entire cover off.

It'll look like this

Ive checked almost all fuses 'underhood and in dash' and everything seems ok. I will see if this 175amp fuse is bad... guess its completely under the underhood fuse block? I unplugged battery's plugged back up and still nothin.... not even a small spark on red cables when reconnecting. HELP

That fuse is almost surely your problem, BUT it cannot be visually inspected. A test lamp can be used to see if power exists on both sides while it's in the circuit, or an ohm meter can be used on it once removed from the circuit.

IF you turn off everything in the truck, but leave the driver's door open with the key in the ignition off position, as a quick test, you can use a pair of pliers to momentarily jumper across it's posts. BUT, I strongly suggest against permanently jumpering it out.

This was the issue. I replaced the 175a fuse on the passenger side firewall and all is swell. Thanks Heymccall
