The truck is a 2008. it had turbo back exhaust on for only a month. When you are accelerating at the time it shifts from 4th to 5th gear there is a shutter and vibration felt. If you are hard on the pedal there is nothing and if you take it real is easy on the pedal there is nothing, only when you drive it normal is when there is the shutter. sorry if i didnt explain my problems well.
THanks in advance,
Cody

I have had the exact same problem with mine nobody ever knows what the problem is. I have stock exhaust on mine but it has done it for a long time. Full throttle is good light throttle is good, anything in between is horrible for the shutter from 4th to 5th. Dealership thinks it is something engine related not transmission related. Mine never has thrown any codes and hasn't got better or worse. I sure wish someone could find the cause of this problem because it is so noticeable for regular driving.

CODY and BBD... kind of off topic but do either of you have blocks in the rear end or ever thought it could be a carrier bearing. i had a horrible shudder in 5th from 60 to 65 when i put my new rear blocks in and i did everything possible becasue i was convinced it was the tranny. got a new converter, did a transgo and had the dealer drop the pan. finally after realinzing that the tranny was fine it was because my lift blocks were tapered too much so i got flat blocks and the truck rides smoth as glass. spend about 2 grand on a 100 dollar fix. live and learn i guess.

No mine is stock with no blocks in the rear. Definitly feels more like something in the motor or transmission because of the noise it makes. Full throttle there is no problem or very light throttle, anything in between you can hear and feel. Thank you for your suggestion, any ideas are helpful. Thanks
