: Juice V1.2 @ the track..
I ran it at the track today. Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI. I was impressed. My brother was too. Didin't have any problems with juice. Only used juice, no predator, on a bunch of different settings. My fastest was 14.322 @98.55 w/ 2.254 60' and 9.313 @78.3 in the 1/8th. I couldn't duplicate the run. I don't know why. My next fastest was a 14.648@92 w/2.333 60ft and 9.354@76.55 1/8th. I ran 13 runs. I had my brother with me on most, but not my 4 fastest. I didn't remove anything from the truck. Ran it like I drive it. My fastest 60' was 1.932 in 4wd. I raced a 2003 SS Silverado 3 times and beat him twice. He had headers, no cat, and custome tune. A SB Dodge Hemi 4x4 was there. He had exhaust, but I don't know what else. His fastest was a 15.2something. I didn't get to run him side by side though(I wanted to!!!). My average, throwing out the fastest and the slowest time, was 14.8863. That average is including 5 runs with my brother and I in the truck. Fastest run with both of us in truck was 14.796@88.27mph, 1.932 60ft, 9.287@71.63mph in 1/8th

Max Power 04-24-2005, 08:21 PM Not bad at all. Stock trans? Sorry if I missed it.

Nice info!!!!!!!!!!!
What levels were you runnig, just 5 only? I was wondering what the times would be in 3 or 4.
Do you have any tranny mods done. Maybe the tranny is the reason you could not dup your fastest run? Tranny starting to get a bit tried or something.
Dan
Fastest run was on 4, no defuel, 5 low boost setting. The first run on that setting for the day. I ran 3 runs on 4 w/ defuel on all shifts, 3 low boost setting before the fastest run. That fast run just clicked through the shifts with no lag. It started to lag on the 3-4 and 4-5 shifts after the fast run. The truck ran more consistent on level 4 than level 5. Didn't use any other levels. I don't have any tranny mods, but I want some!!!

I figure you quit "clicking through the shifts" when the Edge started sensing slip and defueling more after things got hot and glazed. You'll really need to look at some trans mods if you intend to keep running the 1/4. Stock tranny is just gonna get eaten up a little bit more on every run.
Carbon04 04-24-2005, 10:31 PM Alright some more Locals, let me know next time your going! I have been to GLD twice this year, I am due for another visit. Nice times.
Carbon04, who did your tranny?
Carbon04 04-25-2005, 08:03 PM me.
IdahoRob 04-25-2005, 11:25 PM Carbon,
Are you running just the trans-go and converter? I think I'm going that route. I'd like to run in the 13's and wondering if the trans-go will get me there.
Thanks,
Rob
Carbon04 04-26-2005, 09:03 AM The transgo will work just fine, I have well over 100 passes.
redneck45 04-26-2005, 10:47 AM Are those 4x4 boosted launches? Cause my best was 4x4 boosted on level 3 low boost level 5 and no defuel any shifts=14.9 forgot mph! Afraid of outcome on level 3 with my stock tranny--prob. even hurting it with the 4x4 boosteds in level 3 and no defuel! Also, if you had the stock size tires that would give you better times.
Carbon04 04-26-2005, 02:42 PM I ran a 13.92 with the stock trans and 120 juice/attitude
ratlover 04-26-2005, 02:55 PM You want defuel on ALL shifts if you have a stock trans IMO, its the safest.
Daryl has a freak truck:bow: built on a wensday or something, I ran a 13.9, mid 1.8 60's. 4x4 launch with a HJ and a stage 3 5x5 w/no defuel. 265's, 6730#'s, exhaust and sleeves, stock everything else
redneck45 04-26-2005, 03:26 PM Ya, but it "feels" like the defuel is really slowing me down. Nothing worse than it falling on its face between every shift--guess I'm goin to GR soon!
Carbon04 04-26-2005, 05:52 PM If you select no defuel or not the TCM is detecting slip with the stock trans and is pulling fuel anyways.
Carbon, I need some track time w/ you there. I have a ton of questions. Let me know when you can go, and I'll try to make it.
Thinkmoto 04-26-2005, 06:40 PM I'll have to meet up with you guys sometime. I need to hear more about the tranny install and etc.

Some more of you diesel guys should make your way over there. It would make things a lot more interesting, lol.
I'm now living in Illinois, but I'd like to get up there for some RSDs this year.
