What year is your truck, mileage, worn or not ?
1st step would be to open the exhaust : new mandrel bent cross-over pipe, downpipe, delete the soot trap (aka catalytic converter),
then, make sure everything is OK about cooling and upgrade what necessary to make it cooling fine (clean rad, HO waterpump, 9 blades fan + modded fan clutch - I recommend Heath one).
Not a performance mod, but a must, relocate your PMD outside engine bay if it is not yet;
Upgrade intake by upgrading the filter and air opening;
upgrade fuel supply, at least with a HO fuel pump, the one for the 1993 K3500(e.g.Airtex E3158), best is a Walbro FRB-5;
Gauges to monitor EGT, Fuel pressure and boost (and or tranny temp if you're willing to tow),
Chip, GLE or GL4 from Bill Heath, call him to get an advice;
an ******* turbo.

You will completely wake up the beast.... :D

Sorry. My truck is a 96 td. And is running like a champ. It has 204,000 on it. Thanks for the quick repsonse. Is there any website I should stay away from or a certain one to go towhen buying everythig off the Internet? And it seems as though heath makes a lot of the parts for our trucks

Also what kind of injectors should I use? I found some 70 hp injectors a while ago. But now I can't find them. Coudl you give me a brand and which one? Or a link to it

performance injectors are great, but the thing with them is you need more fuel for them to work. If you put in "50hp, or 70hp" injectors into your stock vehicle its unlikely that you will see any performance gain (unless your old injectors were completely kaputs) Most people on here will tell you (because its true) that you need an ECM re-flash for performance injectors to do their job correctly. The ECM and IP determine how much fuel goes to the injectors, not the engine. So if you are going to do marine/performance injectors make sure you do ECM as well.

Yeah. I was already planning on putting in a peomancr chip. But I'm not sure which one of those to use either.

http://www.heathdiesel.com/

Here is the place you want to buy your parts from. Heath is certainly not the only vendor out there, but he is the most reputable.

http://www.kennedydiesel.com/
Kennedy is another good option, cheaper than Heath, but with less of a selection.

Just be careful when buying things from SS Diesel, stay away from his chips.

They said that those performance chips aren't legal for sale or use in ca. I live in ca does that mean they won't let me buy it? If I can't. What's another brand that I can use in ca?

Thats because they remove emissions controls. They might let you buy it, and you can install it, it's not going to sense where it is and blow up. But don't get caught ;)

Oh and we never told you nothing about anything.

regarding your lift, the way i was taught was to pick what size tire/wheel you wanna run with and the choose the lift thats best with the tire/wheel size. then gears need to be swapped to get it close to stock ratio again. my other suggestion is to move to a state where they dont have such strict emissions laws
