Looking to purchase an MBRP T-409 stainless exhaust system, including the tip. But don't know which one would look best on my truck...

MBRP Tips (http://www.mbrp.com/accessories.jpg)

...I'm thinking either T5053 (dual wall angled), T5051 (angle rolled), or T5050 (rolled straight). But I would like to see what these look like ON TRUCKS (and I'm sure others have asked the same question).

Soooooo...... Let's see YOURS!

Thanks,
Paul.

Just ordered my MBRP system... It comes with straight cut tip free. I'll give pics later this week if someone else doesn't post beforehand. I like the straight cut rolled one myself. Might have to purchase one... depends on how the "free" one looks.

Paul,

I just did a Google and found this http://www.xtremediesel.com/

They offer free shipping, and the prices look low. Don't know their rep, though.

My vote is for the Dual-wall angle tip!

i did have a 4" slash cut but it wasnt big enough so, me and a friend found a set of stacks and cut them up and made 5" tips out of them, they looked good im just not crazy about the way the exhaust shop put mine on

Just curious... who did you order from? --Paul.Called the Guy at link below... Got entire system, including cat delete pipe,"free" tip & shippinig included for $595.00... Seemed as good or slightly better deal than I've seen advertised, besides, I don't play the "call me last" game! If Someone can't give me there best deal up front, they are not worth dealing with. IMO.

Diesel day dreaming, I'm sorry to rain on your parade. But at $595 you didn't get a free tip you paid for it to. Check out the prices on our web site and add up the prices minus the discount and you will see that you actually paid for that tip you just didn't know it. The reason I'm telling you this is because it really pulls my trigger when companies pull the wool over customers making the customer think they are getting a deal when that deal really wasn't there. Our prices are right in line with theirs the difference is that in our price that is almost the same, you pay for the tip and in theirs they say you get it free. If our price is the same as theirs and you pay for the tip, how can their tip be FREE.

Diesel day dreaming, I'm sorry to rain on your parade. But at $595 you didn't get a free tip you paid for it to.Well, My exhaust arrived ten minutes ago and it had two tips in the box. Apparently when I talked to the guy on the phone he added the extra tip that I wanted. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif Yes John@DPS, I did pay for it... The extra one I wanted. Now my buddy is bugging me for the straight cut one. I told him help me install the exhaust and it's yours.

He's Happy, I'm Happy. :ro) :grd:

I have tip sort of like 049 & 050, the double walled beveled tip. It looks really nice clean but it does take long (at all) to soot up the inner beveled part. With soot, it looks like the single walled tip....so why bother!

I thought thats what would happen with the beveled tip, so I went with the rolled one. Will install this weekend and post a sooted pic later.

Mannytranny,
If it was like a ricer, the tip would be the size of a 55 Gallon Drum! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Anyway, I installed my MBRP 4" system yesterday and put the tip on.
