Is this normal? i started my truck this morning... came back a bout 5 minutes later and the high idle kicked on while I was gone, and a mild amount of whitesh blue smoke was coming out the pipe... It kinda alarmed me:eek: so I kicked off the high idle...

It's normal, especially if the high idle kicks in. Any diesel will spew a small amount of unburned fuel until up to operating temp.

When I've had mine high idling at 20° below zero, it will nearly smoke out the neighborhood. Ahhh, diesel smoke...
