I'm planning on picking up some Stanadyne Performance Formula. Are the "One Shot" bottles enough for a 34 Gallon tank? I rarely put more than 30 gallons in at a fill up. If I where to put 9 or 10oz of Stanadyne in initially, the 8oz "One Shot" should then be all that's needed at fill-up to keep the right doseage, right?

Per the Stanadyne brochure, a single "One Shot" bottle of the Performance Formula holds 8 oz and will treat 30 gallons of fuel. So, you would need just a touch over 9 oz to treat 34 gallons.

That's why I said for the first time feed it 9-10oz to treat the whole load, but then after that, if there are 5-7 gallons in the tank that have been treated, and I add 27-29 gallons of fresh untreated, the one bottle of "One Shot" should be the right amount, right? I don't feel like having to measure out a dose each fillup, and it's hard to find bottles of the right size.

"I add 27-29 gallons of fresh untreated, the one bottle of "One Shot" should be the right amount, right?" ---> That is "more" than the right amount. The recommneded amount would be somewhat less than a full 8 oz One Shot bottle. (Recommended dosage is 8 oz per 30 gal of untreated fuel.)

If you are asking ... Does it harm anything to use a stronger concentration than 8 oz per 30 gallons, the recommended dosage per Stanadyne, then the answer is "no". Stanadyne says it is ok to double up.

The first post was in response to the question "Are the "One Shot" bottles enough for a 34 Gallon tank?" It was a long way of saying "no".
