Today I Hauled about five loads of gravel. With my Chevy.
Run like a top all day long till the last load the clutch was catching all the way at the floor. Checked the fuiled it was full. has anyone ever had this happen .Could it have gotten to hot the engine was not cut off for five hours. what could it be?:eek:

Crawl under the truck and watch the clutch linkage move as someone presses on the clutch pedal. Movement should start when the clutch is moved. If it looks ok, you probably smoked your clutch.

my new clutch in my 85' engauges right at the floor ever since we put the new clutch in i cant put it in reverse unless its burried in the floormats
