Just did some work on it, lbz mp, mbrp 4" turbo back, pvc reroute. got a couple of codes but it was a loose wire connection. cleared codes and its been fine. for two days. Well today I jump in start up head down the street glance up at the edge and it reads over 2100 egt within 3 min after start up its 40* outside with snow. The engine temp is fine not climbing fast or anything. is this the edge acting up or what I dont dare drive it. any suggestions

Not with EFI live. It's best to remove it and get another set of gauges to replace the Edge with. That way you can eliminate another potential problem with keeping the Edge probe.

I dont think you went to 2100*f your turbo would be melted on top of your motor. Change your EGT probe and setup

Yes it was a bad probe. just disconnected it and next week getting efi live and getting the probe replaced for a guage. pyro and boost gauges is all I need right?

and just for the record, no i really didnt think it was 2100* nothing would last at that heat. Just didnt know what caused it to read that. but it makes perfect sense now. thanks guys
