OK, My buddy has a 93 1/2 ton 4x4 350 automatic around 130,000 mi SBRC.
The problem is, after driving about 20 miles or so it seems to dump fluid out of the front of the pan. It leaves a nice smoke screen behind since it dumps out right onth the exhaust crossover. Got to my house and checked fluid level and it was extremely foamed up. took the upper line loose from the radiator and drained some fluid off, it looked and smelled fine, to add it all back in to get it to proper level again. The fluid came out of the radiator when the truck was running so that part isn't plugged. He has told me done it again sine we looked at it last. We are going to do a fluid and filter change but I am thinking there is something else wrong. Has anybody had this before? He is not towing anything when this has happened.

Front bushing being worn will take the seal out causing leaks in that area.

this doesn't seem to be a steady leak. It only does it after driving a little bit and when it leaks it REALLY does it comes out onto the exhaust crossover bad enough to leave a large cloud of smoke behind him. I have checked the vent on top of the tranny and it seems to be clear from what I can tell. Just can't figure out what might be causing this.

Doesn't anybody have any ideas? Have I found one of those questions that really has no answer?

Unfortunately with out us being there it will be up to you to diagnose where the leak is coming from. Spray everything off good and go over everything with a fine tooth comb. Once you can pin that down then we might be able to help.

:banghead:That's the issue, it only happens when driving down the road (I'm not hanging out the door to look under the truck at any speed:HiHi:) and when you stop to look at it the entire trans pan is dripping from all over and from the pan gasket up it all seems dry everything behind the tranny is soaked from fluid blowing back. I am almost positive it is coming from the front of the pan. All bolts are tight and wiping the pan and letting it set shows no leak, drive it for awhile and it soaks the pan.
