I want to retro fit the California glow plug control circuit and do not have A California emissions truck nearby. Anybody have one of these trucks and can you help me with pictures so I can do this. Please don't tell me it can't be done. I have done some things that can't be done and still continue doing things that can't be done, regularly.

I will be getting my parts from a wrecked truck. ( I don't have the parts yet still investigating this)

I just get things done!

I want to be able to quickly diagnose which plug is bad via the central connection instead of the laborious way the FEDERAL model is configured. Cheap BEAN COUNTERS who needs them.

Mine is a 2002 GMC Sierra LT CCSB Allison 4x4

I need pictures of the main controller for the individual wires for each glow plugs. Really anything you shoot will be of help. I have dealt with enough diesel systems to figure out what has been done.

I can figure that each plug has a wire connected to it of course. Anything else is icing on the cake.

Please pm me for address for pictures please.

Thanks

Dale

Just a question. Why would you want to do this? Does your current truck blow glow plugs all the time?

i am curious to this as well. does this mod reduce the time it takes the glow plugs to warm up?

Why would you swap to a problematic part? There is a special policy covering the POS cali GPCM because the fail. You should be able to find someone willing to trade.
