Hey all! I hope someone can help.


I have a 04 Ford F-650 with dual fuel tanks. I was driving it last week and there was 1/2 tank of fuel. Then while I was driving the gauge pegged on full. But Im not sure how the fuel gauge or sending unit works? The only thing Im worried about is now it looks like the fuel is only being taken from one passenger side tank.

I would suspect that there is a problem with the switch electrically? If you are able to take the wires off the switch or isolate it test it with an multi meter on ohms scale. If you don't have a multi meter get one in the price range that you like.
