It only reads a max of 115. The odd thing is that when I clear my records and then look back at it a few secs later it has a normal egt level of 250. I re-checked all connections and all looked fine. Any thoughts?

Are the leads reversed where they come out of the module and connect to the probe leads?

Yeah, TCs do fail and start giving wacky numbers right before they die.

I kill them all the time at work. Generally speaking they start reading lower and lower and then *piff* - open circuit.

Double checked everything again and it's still outta whack. Only started doing this recently and after a few 1/4 mile runs. I'll give edge a call Monday and see what they say. Thanks.

P.S. Could high EGT's kill the probe? Say something like 1700-1800?

Do you have an Ohm meter? See what resistance you have across the two leads (disconnected from the juice/attitude). I have a brand new one not installed yet (waiting to break my truck in). I can check it tonight if you want to check yours against a new one. I won't be home untill 8:15 pm Eastern Daylight Time.

Haven't seen you online... measured my new probe, 1.4 ohms at room temperature (74°F). Part Number 4000800 printed on the bag. Hope this helps, DDD.

I just added some ATS gauges (made by Faze) and tried to use the Edge probe. Would not work. When I checked the Faze probe everthing went fine. I know IBDMX'IN and SP33D have trashed some probes. Probably due to poor quality and high temps. My Edge probe still works even though it got up to 1832*F for a moment at a dyno day.

Post some pics of those Faze gauges! Where did you end up getting them?
