: Need A Test Drive in Performance Duramax vrod 04-23-2005, 10:18 AM Is there anyone close to York, Pennsylvania who would be willing to give my wife and I a test drive in a Duramax with a LLY engine. It must have a transmission upgrade and at least a box. We want to feel the difference with an upgrade and a box, like the Edge on level 5. The beefed up transmissions shift normal if not better, no harsh shifts. The increased power (hp & torque) makes a daily driver so much easier to drive. If you want to pass someone you have already done it, effortlesly. Oh yeah, change the shocks and put Dynamat extreme in the truck. The stock shocks are junk from new and the sound suspression of Dynamat Extreme is amazing even though these trucks are quite from the factory.
