I just finished up a road test of the PPE Xcelerator Hot on the LLY. Kennedy and PPE got it out to me in record time for a track day tomorrow. :ro) I have to say I am impressed.

It is very smooth on the power delivery. The throttle sensitivity is very close to stock, it tips in just like it should. Much better than the Predator. Definitely the fastest thing I have run on the LLY yet. No issues with the stock fuel system either. EGT's were what you would expect, they climb up there pretty fast.

I did try to stack it with the VA and it quite a bit of timing rattle. More than I was comfortable with and it would not complete a full throttle pass without a burst or fuel delivery issue. It may be okay on the dyno only or maybe with a lift pump you might manage to make a full pass stacked.

I am taking it to the track and I hopefully will have good things to report there tomorrow.

I have one to play with on the LB7 too so it should be an interesting day. :ro)

It sure is. I am planning on comparing the Q215, the PPE and the VA, same day, same truck, same track. ;) No TTS handy so I am sure my testing won't spark the great debate though.

I am hoping that things go well but I have my doubts about the G80 holding up as I have not rebuilt it yet.....

Geez, I wonder who's relabeled programmer PPE is using these days. Hope you dyno it before you pay for it.

If you burst on PPE LLY hot + VA #2, kick it down to VA #1 and try. You only drop ~8 rwhp setting the VA to the middle setting.

BMDMAX, lift pump?

Why do some LLY's seem to burst easier then others? Mine bursts really bad all around. I can't seem to stack anything without bursting.

No lift pump on this truck yet. I am waiting for a few things to develop before I put one on. The PPE / VA stack is the first thing that has acted funky on my truck. Even if a lift pump fixes the fuel issue it has too much rattle throughout the powerband stacked. Much worse than any rattle I have gotten out of the LB7 IMHO.

Can you get rid of timing on either box?

I'm anxious to see what the PPE will do for the LB7. Better than the Quad/Juice stack?
