I was going to say the same thing. Not too much problem with soot with all that white smoke.

yeah hollowed out cat and the side pipe bolts right to the cat flange. 3.5" to 4" then turns to 5". works great.

I have not had too much problem with soot on the side of the truck, but that rear rim gets dirty quick!

same here. i also like that no other diesels around here have side pipes. all have stacks or out stock exit point. so it's kinda different.

Pull your cat off the engine and cut it rite out and replace it with pipe. I did the same thing as u when i first got my truck it dident bark much at all. So i cut the cat rite out. When u just gut the cat it will acts as a baffle and isent quite as loud as true straigh pipes. But if u like how it sounds rite now keep on truckin.

actually when you put her to the wood it barks quite nice. turbo sounds like a jetat first then the exhaust tone takes over and is quite loud. i am extremely glad that it is driveable though under normal conditions and not overbearing with sound.

Dude. When I bought my truck, mine came out in the same spot. I didn't like it at first, then it grew on me. It does sound cool and look cool, but I see you already noticed the soot on the wheel. Trust me, you want it past the wheel. It has ruined all of my wheels. Unless you are going to clean them off everytime you drive it. Just my $.02. It does look good though.

Sounds bad ass dude. Im thinking about running a simular set up real soon. I have a couple of questions for you. First is it a turbo back ?? and i would assume you deleted the cat and if so there were no MIL lights triped. The last question i have is was it a custom or kit?? thanks for the help

Silverstreak82

no it's stock exhaust with a hollowed out cat. the pipe is custom with a matching flange for the cat so it bolts right to the cat. i hollowed out the cat and bolted this right up. we had to modify it some because it was originally built for a crew cab. i have never had a problem with service engine lights. its been on 4 trucks now with no issues. 2 of the trucks were mine as i stated the arrival blue one in the video is no longer. i have it on my new truck which is the same thing. i do want to get a bigger downpipe sometime soon.
