"It's all the same....only the names are changed"

Supatrucka,

Do a search for torque converter, and read up, this subject has been debated back and forth here for a while. Sometimes the debates are quite heated.

So asking that question is kinda like asking which religion is best. :D

If you go with a Yank, please let us know on it, I dont know anybody using one yet and I am curious how they stack up.

The tech that will do the work works on a c5 twin turbo(one of those linganfilther vettes how ever you say it) that's pushing some big HP and that's what he run's and said nothing but good about yank. I've read all the post's about converters but would like some input about people using triples NOT CRAZY PEOPLE):h . dave

Some people call it black art when it comes to converters. The first thing you need to do is define what you will use it for and then match the converter designed for that applicaton. Our Converter is designed to enhance the low end torque multiplication and improve driveability. Some are desgned with less low end torque multiplication. Once the converter clutch is locked they are all the same unless one is slipping. When pulling a trailer or going up a incline from a stop our converter will beat the rest hands down. :)

What applications are best suited for less low end torque multiplication?

High engine speed type applications, like a gas engine.
