Just curious:
What air pressure are you all running your tires at?
I have ~35" BFG A/T's and was wondering the lowest I can get away with without significantly sacrificing wear. I think I'd rather sacrafice a little MPG (yes, even with fuel prices the way they are  ) and get a softer ride.
As a rule, I don't tow anything, if / when I do -- what do you recommend then???
Thanks guys!

What is max pressure on your tires? If 80psi I wouldn't run the fronts any lower than 60-65 due to the heavy weight on the front end, usually around 4400lbs. Yeah that beast we feed is heavy to! If max PSI is less on your tires I wouldn't run them much below max psi on the front. Underinflated tires is what caused the Ford Explorer blowout problems. :o:
You can get away with a lower pressure on the rear tires, that's where most of the rough ride comes from anyway. When towing any significant weight I like max psi on all tires. JJ's .02 cents worth. Later. :)

I run them so they wear evenly and it looks like I have the same truck as you do.
To do that on my truck, unloaded, with 265 LR "E" Revos, I'm at 55 in the front and 45 in the rear.
Was running 60 and 50 but doggone it, the centers started wearing.....same thing on my winter tires. Softer turned out to be better.
On Edit: whoops, you're running a lift.....the above info might be useless, sorry.

I'm running fronts @ 45 & rear @ 40--BFG M/T 35's.

Different size tires will probably require different pressure for fine tuning, but I run 50 psi all the way around when not loaded in my stock donut-sized tires.

I run 55 all around, when I tow the fifth wheel I bring them up to 75psi. Wear is excellent.

The MAX psi is 50lbs on those BFG AT. I have those tires and use 45 in the front and 40 in the rear. Want a softer ride.... what types of shocks are you running and what lift? I am using the ProComp MX6 adjustable shocks. I have always like adjustables for the fact the you can turn them down to get a soft ride or turn them all the way up for off road. I run them on setting #3. My ride feels like stock or better. They range from 1- softest to 6- hardest. Might help looking into different shocks then you are running now for that ride you want.
