I just got my Edge Insight with the pyrometer add on via UPS today :D

The instuctions for the pyrometer probe install are for a truck and it would be impossible to drill and tap where Edge recommends without manifold removal because the body of the van is in the way. It seems that a good spot for the install on a van would be at the date mark just foward and above from the Edge reccommended install location. I am a little nervous about this operation to be completley honest.

Anyone installed an egt probe on a van?

I installed mine on the drivers side manifold at the rear. There is a nice flat spot there for it.

Pyro probe is now installed and working well with thr Insight, Thanks for the help Joey!

I installed the probe bung on the driver's manifold, on the bottom at the rear in the spot where the heat sheild does not cover. Peice of cake.

Thats where the local shop put the one on my truck too. I didnt want to goof it up, and they only charged me $25. I gave him the instructions that said pass side. Guess he thought the driver side was easier too.
