my 96 3500 6.5 has set 2 codes a po711 and po722, both indicate a trans problem. The trans seems to engage and disengage, it does not slip and shifts good if a little hard. should i change those sensors or should the dealer handle this.

not sure what 711 is but 722 is output speed sensor low input i would stare by replacing the output sensor

I don't see PO711 listed either, but if they're both tranny related, I would agree with 69 and start with the output sensor.

it is part of the internal wiring harness i would try the output sensor then clear the codes and try it sometimes the tot sets codes if you scanit without it being at operating temp
