I picked up the new 10 stage quad and installed it with my juice and noticed that egt's were not that high compared to what i've read over the years. i've only reached about 1200 degrees post turbo compared to some of the crazy numbers i've read in the past. does 1200 seem normal? my second question is for those who stack quad/juice do you run the stack daily? thanks

1200F post turbo can easily be 1600F+ PRETURBO

Preturbo is a faster more accurate spot to measure EGT's from!

Quad Juice stack can read an instantaneous 18-1900F on a 1/4 mile run
or about 1450 post turbo.... ooops

It also depends how far past the turbo that you are taking your readings from.

Yeah, dude, that's smokin' hot if it was 1200° post turbo.

Then how come on all the 18 wheelers they have the egt probe post turbo? I'm friends with a bunch of truckers and when we talk about egts they ask me why I put it in the manifold. Every one of them say there's is post turbo?

I have to imagine they do it for possible broken probe safety reasons.Why else?

The Stealth has the lowest numbers of most ad on power mods. I have my probe in the right side manifold, and towing a 10,000# TT, I very seldom see over 1050* running the 135hp setting. And running the truck in a 1/4 mile, it never goes over 12 something. Everyday driving it never goes over 800* and mostly 500*-650*.

I've reached a max EGT of 1705 at the track doing the 1/4. That was with my Quad and Juice stacked on 5x5.

A stack don't count! You can not blame that high temp on the Stealth, and that is what this thread is about, the Quad Stealth. The older regular Juice was much hotter then the Stealth. Even the Juice on the lowest setting was hotter then the Stealth on the 135 setting. I can't say about the newer Juice, because I havn't used it.
