when i remove the inside driver door from door, there are wires that connect to the buttons of the door(mirror tilt, windows etc) the question; why is there an extra wire, without a plug to put it in, that hangs in the door panel? so far this is what ive came up with; first plug is for power windows, sencond larger plug is for windows then third plug is door locks.... anyone know what the last wire without a plug is for?

Is your truck a CC? If not, the wire is probably for the window lock out button that the EC's don't have.

the truck is ec; i find that extra wire/plug has no use then for my extended cab.. oh well. :(:p::)...

How many wires are in the connector and what color are they?
