Hello-
Thanks to this awesome forum I have successfully installed the NBS cab/clearance/roof lights on my 02. I used the actual GM lights purchased from a dealership.
To my issue: The drivers side light that I first got was a considerably darker orange LED than the center or passenger side. I took it back and got a new one for free under the GM 12-month part's warranty. The new one I received is ALSO a darker orange when lit up. When not lit up, the housing colors all look the same (and look awesome!). Lit during the day it's slightly noticeable, at night it's obviously different.
Has anyone had this issue? It's like GM went with a different supplier or had a large batch of bad lights. I want to emphasis these aren't RECON lights, they're OEM GM parts. I'm about to go back to the dealership and try to get a new center and right lamp (in case the darker color is actually the "correct" one), but honestly I'm worried about embarrassing myself by ordering a ton of lamps to fix this issue. The only thing that keeps me motivated to fight is that fact I spent over 200 bucks on them (harness, tax, shipping, etc).
I'd take pictures, but I never have good luck at night shots. Thanks for your input.
