I just got it installed and my tranny slips and the engine light came on like a governor and my truck lost it's power! I spent $3500 and I am pissed! Seriously I do not recommend. Help anyone?:help:

I learned this the hard way. Your tranny needs to learn the new found power and will slip until it gets use to it. As far as the fall on the face, my guess would be 1093. Don't know for sure until you pull the code. Give it time, it'll get better! ):h

Anytime the 1000 gets above 400 RWHP,Upgrades are necessary to support WOT or heavy pulling.

It sounds like the tranny went into limp mode. What level were you running?

I am not a banks fan. The name is just not worth the extra money. I was quoted 800 dollars for exhaust and 200 install. I purchased mbrp turbo back from vendor here for less than 600 and installed in less than hour myself. A company like banks with the volume they do, they could be one of the least expensive. But that is just me.

Any update? I just purchased the Banks system for my 2005 because everyone told me the Edge wasn't up to par on the LLY's like the Banks was.

You got a bad quote on the Banks Exhaust. I paid $600 with the LB7 front pipe to ditch the cat. I installed myself and could not be happier. Fit and finish is great. The stainless in MBRP is about the same price!

I was running in level 4! Levels 5 and 6 are completely unusable it will send off the engine light as soon as you get on it. Banks told me to see if the tranny gets used to it but that was supposed to be in a couple of miles, not weeks. I am going to go down there to get a new module to see if that helps.
