Hey, whats up 8.1? Did you dyno yours? Get any work on that N-Fab pre-runner bar yet?

Scheduled to be on the Dyno is 2 weeks. I am going to run one with the 35's and one without. Just to see if the hp/tq are different. I am expecting them to be lower because of the rotating mass. Edited by: 1BADHD

I have a 2000 3500 7.4L 4X4 and love it. Been trouble free for 32000 miles. But, alas, I am working on a deal for a 2003 Ext. Cab D/A SB 4X4. The 2003 model year rebates of $5000 and GM employee discount are too tempting.

My 3500 Classic body style has served me well, and I will miss it. Just a week or two ago I got 16 MPG on one leg of a trip. Truck has 4.10 rear end too!

Do these count???

Previous 1991 S10 with 2.8 V6 traded at 315,000 miles. Never touched the engine internalks and it still got over 21mpg without using any oil.

Now the gasser in the driveway is a 2001 S10 with the 4.3 V6. 65k on this one, I miss the 2.8 V6!!!

Have a Chevy Kodiak C4500 with a Monroe VersaHauler Bed. Tranny is the Allison 1000. Rear end is 5.13. It's used for towing our Montana 5th wheel.

Ordered it in January this year and received it end of May. Immediately went out west (Seattle) to see our new granddaughter. Didn't have any problems. I'm getting 7 miles to the gallon.

Here's a picture taken at our first camp site.

GasGetter, why in the world did you trade that monster cool chevy front end truck with gears for another but smaller 1500HD truck? Just curious. I had a 2002 HD it was awesome.
