I have had the infamous P0404 code for 3 weeks. I have done some research on it here and haven't been in a hurry to try to get it fixed or turned off with EFI Live. I have not done anything to address the issue.

I pulled our 5th wheel out of the storage lot at lunch today to get ready for a camping trip this weekend. On the way home, the CEL went away.

My guess is that it will probably come back on again soon, but have to ask - To all of you that have been fighting the P0404 battle - Have you ever had the CEL go away on its own? after being on constantly for at least a few weeks? without doing anything to try to correct it?:confuzeld

yea mine did that......its been off for a couple months now and hasnt come back on so i havent really worried about it anymore.
