I am interested also. I would like to replace my factor (non-bose) stereo. With Kids, I can't really justify spending thousands on a sound system. I've squandered enough already.

Check my garage for pics of the current system (single din Sony, Linear Power pre-amp and x-over). Better look now, because it's coming out tonight. Going to an Alpine IVA-W205 double din. Adding PAC TR7 (video bypass) and SWI (steering wheel controls) along with a backup camera, Alpine PXA-H701 (audio processor) and an Alpine's PKG-RSE2 (overhead DVD player/LCD monitor) to entertain the kids in the back seat. Changing some of the speakers and adding more power to round out the change.:D

Take lots of pics with your new install. What are you doing with your old system? Your garage pics are incredible. You really like your audio.
What are those 2 amps are for? I have an infinite baffle sub built into my home with a 2400w amp and a Harmonic feedback destroyer. Is one of those amps to eliminate the squeal/humm?

Yea, I like my stereo.:D Comes from years of competing in IASCA, USAC, etc. This will probably be the last of the changes for the truck, unless something breaks. I don't want to get too "over the top" with the truck. It started as some simple upgrades in 05 and has progressed every year. It's time to stop upgrades before it becomes a full blown comp system.:p:

Parts of the old system are going in one of my GN's, some sold, the rest in my "collection". The 2 pieces in the dash above the radio are a Pre-amp (top) and a cross-over (middle). All the amps are behind the rear seat.

Pics are always taken, just not always published. Forgot to add that I'm also adding another 60 sq ft of Dynamat Extreme.
