Hey guys i guess you can tell by my screen name that i have a 02 powerstroke. I have a full banks power pack with six gun and methanol/water injection. Ok so I have been thinking about changing to a d max would like to know how a new lly stock will compare to my truck as fast or faster and will it pull as good or better? I really like the interior comforts of the gmcs and chevys and especially like the bose sound system. Thanks for all the help in advance. :)

Can't answer how a stock LLY compares to your PSD w/ banks, but the LLY w/ Banks runs awesome and is smooth and very drivable

ok well can you reply with what kind of mileage you are seeing with your truck? with mine and the way i drive even on the interstate i only see about 13.5 or 14

I normally get 19mpg hwy for extended drives at 75mph.

Towing 6,000lb drops to 14-15mpg.

With 3000lb camper + 6,000 trailer - 11.5mpg.

Power? Dunno. I will leave a Mustang at a stoplight pretty easy.

U can also stay a truck length ahead of a Z06 all the way to 120mph :ro)

a friend of mine has an 03 stroker with a predator set to the 40hp tune, and I still left him, and my 04.5 has nothing done to it. I can't wait to get my edge and really piss him off. :ro)

For comparison's sake, a friend has a 2001 7.3L with a 100hp Superchips. His truck is a crew cab long box with a 4 inch lift and running 35's. I ran him with my Duramax extended cab short box stock, and beat him by three truck lengths in the 1/4 mile.

I've had the Bullydog Powerpup and Hypertech before I switched to Banks. Needless to say, I won't be going back. I like the ability to switch power levels without having to reprogram. For power comparison's between these three, level 3 on the GUN runs with the Hypertech on it's 96hp (level 3) and level 4 on the GUN runs with the Powerpup on it's 95hp (level 3) setting.
