I got this code on my 02 duramax with EGDE. Cranks like mad, no start. I replaced this 100 dollar sensor and it still gives same code. Now it only starts with EGDE plugged in. Tried putting it back to stock and it won't start. Anyone had this problem, GM tech thinks some wire between sensor and computer bad, it doesn't make sense.

Check all the ins on the bale connectors in the stock harness to make sure they are fully seated. What version of the Edge do you have (version# on bottom of box)
Some earlier edge versions would do that with some trucks (mine did, edge reflashed and problem went away)

somtimes the pins pull out or get bent. you could also put some dialectric grease on them.

my guess is the pins. Have seen the reluctor wheel bad.
