With average amounts of fuel you'll be in the 30-40psi range with the 4000.

You shouldn't need headstuds when running that turbo. But if you have the money to do them and have a another reason to lift the valve covers off then I would have them installed.

I've never heard of anyone blowing a head gasket with the 4000, and in many cases people with A5000 turbos have ran them for a year or more above 600hp and not had issue's.

Hope that helps.

You should be fine with the a4k, the most common boost #'s that i was seen was
36-42... Headstuds wouldnt hurt anything to have them in to give a little more piece of mind, but I would say it will be just fine without them...

I never had them in, granted it hasnt been a year or anything, but I agree with Wade on this one (not like he would know anything about ATS parts though  ), you should be good. But if you can afford them just do it while its all apart, but not required.

I was seeing 40 PSI under full throttle. This is a pretty safe turbo for a stock motor.

I've never pulled a motor to put headstuds in, but if for some reason you feel like doing two days worth of work instead of one, by all means, have at it!!! :D

Not hard if you know what your doing. It's time consuming, but it makes for a great workout!!
