I'm getting ready to install a Transgo Jr. (Thanks Mike L) A friend of mine has offered his tech 2 so I can reset my taps after install. My friend has never done a "reset taps on an ally and I've never used a tech 2, is it user friendly, and will it lead me to the taps reset. Or is there a procedure I will need to follow?

Very simple. If you're going to do this today call my cell 310 918 9678 and I will walk you through the procedure. It will take 2 minutes.

Just a question from someone NOT in the know;
When my Transgo Jr. was done, we test drove it first without resetting the taps. We took the Tech 2 with us just incase. The truck did fine. I couldn't really tell any difference so we left well enough alone. The truck had 50,000 miles on it at the time of the procedure. It is our daily driver/big 5th wheel puller.
Is resetting only necessary if the truck doesn't react well to the raised pressures?

It is not necessary to reset TAPs on a 6 speed all the time. If the Alli was abused it helps a lot, if it wasn't you are good to go.
