I'm working on installing a brake controller on my 97 model. I figured this would be a real easy install. So far its being worse then even the worse car stereo I have ever installed.

I have found the blue and orange wire that was tapped away in the factory harness.

I need to attach to the brake switch.. which I can not access. I have even pulled the cluster, and no access to the switch. Where is the wire people are attaching to for this?

Every other gm car I have wired stuff in had a pop out plug in the firewall. I am not seeing one on this truck. Where are you going thru the firewall at to get power and signal to my blue wire.

The controller I have is used and was free. What size fuse should I put on this? 20a??
