a buddy of mine whom i purchased the diablo predator for on here, put it to good use on his '05 dually. been working great and all, but today he contacted me and said it aint coming on when he tries it. dont know what the deal is. does anybody have any advice on this??

Have him check the fuses for the cig lighter.

so the cig lighter on there has to do with the diagnostic port?

Yes, The port has a data pin, a ground pin and a power pin. The power is fused with the cig lighter.

Also look into the port and make sure none of the pins are bent.
