'03 @ 30k with Chevron Delo 400 after 5k miles:

(all ppm)
iron -- 11
chromium -- 1
lead -- 9
copper -- 8
tin -- 0
Aluminum -- 3
nickel -- 0
silver -- 0
silicon -- 12
boron -- 0
sodium -- 5
magnesium -- 28
calcium -- 3116
barium -- 0 (like in the ass juice? )
phosphorus -- 1111
molybdenum -- 0
titanium -- 0
vanadium -- 0
potassium -- 0

fuel -- < 1%
vis @ 100c -- 15.09
water -- 0%
soot/solids -- 0.1%/wt
glycol -- neg.

report came back as oil still suitable for continued use, no corrective action required.

Guess all that means that my injectors are good, I got no coolant leaks, and she's runnin' like a top!

Any Comments?

thanks!
Don

Looks good for 5K, did you dump this batch or are you going to push it a bit further? What kind of reading do you have for ZINC?

must have missed the zink, I'll check later tonight. I dumped the batch and replaced with the mobil truck & suv 'cause I thought I'd try to push it longer than 5k (plus I anticipate summer camping to take us above 8500 elevation this year and it can get cold even in summer!)

Looking forward to your next oil analysis result as it will no doubt be spectacular with the Mobil SUV! :-)
Moreover, excellent move in that your silicon (dirt) readings are low; you've got a good tight induction system so extending drains with Mobil Delvac 1 or SUV can now be done safely...

Have we all concluded Mobil Delvac 1 and Mobil SUV are the same product? Sorry if I missed any previous discussion, been working too hard and too long last 7-8 months.......
