I have only had my truck for one month now and I, as others have mentioned here, have noticed that the fan seems to run a lot. My thought is twofold.

Any of you dealer people jump in here. Has anyone concidered removing the manual fan and replacing it with an electric fan.

The questions are is there a electric fan out there capable of keeping this engine cool when towing heavy loads, and would there be a notable increase in fuel economy by getting rid of that draw on the engine?

Just thinking out loud.

The answer is NO. I converted a truck to dual electric fans some years ago. They wouldn't even begin to cool it when towing. Had to put it back to stock.
