I've got an issue with my drivers side front tire. It squeaks about twice per revolution. I can't figure out what the problem is. Anyone have any advice?

The tire is a Toyo A/T Cross Country 305x50x20.

I have never heard of that. Are you sure it's not your brakes? Maybe a warped rotor?

I don't think it's the brake, it's definitely more of a rubber squeak sound and not a scrape. My best guess is that the bead on the tire is shifting on the rim. Does that sound possible.

I have no idea what you are experiencing  Is there anything stuck in the tread?

Nope. Nothing in the tread. It didn't happen when I put my stock wheels on for the winter so it must be the tire/wheel combo.

Wheel bearing?

Just replaced wheel bearing. Did it before and after. I'm starting to think it's the stainless steel polished ring that goes around my rim. I think it is shifting slightly.

I had a noise with the driver side front also. Turns out it was a bad lower ball joint. Replaced it and no noise since. Just throwin that out there for ya.

It's your truck crying out for a bath.:D I would pull the ring off and drive it for awhile. If the noise goes then you know it was the ring.

What's the ring doing/what's it for?

Stainless is a weird choice of material for this. --- Have you ever tried to drill a few holes through a 1/4" plate of stainless? It was only 7 holes, but I ran out of drills and had to go get new ones ...

Its normally spotless that's why I took the picture. I can't take the ring off, it is glued to the rim. I had to take it off the rear wheel once because it was wobbling, ended up ruining it. The ring is just cosmetic.

you could have a tire squeek.it happens when the tires rub the rim at the bottom when contacting the road.i never had this problem a truck, but have seen it on cars with old or high mi.tires. the fix is to lube the tire at the bead.

is is possible you have a loose center cap? ONE of my weld wheels just started doing this ... at low speed the cap moves and makes a clicking or plastic clunking sound, it goes away once the centrifugal forge is enough to make it stick in one spot... so around town it makes all kinds of noise.. at about 40+ it goes away

just a thought....

Does the squeak go away when you put the front tire(s) on the back?

I just figured out mine one of the break pad clips got backed out a bit some How I can see where it is scrapping the rotor pssshhhhew problem solved , maybe look into that ?!

It's not the center cap. It's definitely a rubber squeak, not metal. I think I'll try lubing the bead and see if that helps.

I know this was mentioned, and I dont know if you checked already, but check the wheel bearing...
Just lift the truck off the ground and grab the wheel 12 & 6 and check for play..
I broke both of mine and the shield behind the rotor touches the rotor.
