I bought my second 1998 1ton 4x4 6.5 Crew Cab in December. I absolutley love these things, but Ive got a brake issue. I took it out hunting the weekend after I got and when I slammed on the brakes to turn a poorly timed corner the front right brake stayed locked. I released the pressure through the bleeder valve and it released. I figured I better check into it a little more when I got home. I took the tire and wheel off and found that the brakes were shot so I figurwed that it was just letting the plunger on the caliper go too far out. I put new brakes on and it still did the same thing. So I got a new caliper and put on it and it still did it. I took the line from the caliper to the steel line off and checked for something blocking the return of fluid. Couldnt find anything. I then decided to unhook the abs system and all of a sudden it quit doing it. It has been that way ever since with no problem. Til last week when it all of a sudden it started doing it again so I know there has to be something somewhere blocking the return. Anyone ever had this problem? If so how in the hell do I start looking for this and where? Thanks
