I searched and couldn't find anything. Could someone tell me the effects of over greasing the zerks?

Thanks...

Blow the rubber seals for sure. Nasty bottom end, stuff on the driveway or garage floor. You could but a drum of grease thru them with no bad effect except as noted above.

No Bad effects just put it in slow. and you are not suppose to do it if temps are below I believe 40 deg. as then it can cause damage....

Ball joint seals are easy to blow with power grease gun, been there, blew one.

Yup, me too. Seems like ours are a little weaker than the norm. I have greased hundreds of vehicles in my dad's and brother's shops, and the first time I greased my truck I popped the ball joint seal. I was so bummed...

I think I blew one of the rubber seals. What are the effects of this, and do I need to do anything about it? I was putting it in, and it started coming out the bottom. I didn't even pump that many times.

coming out the bottom as you stated doesn't necessarily mean you did anything other than overfill the joint. A broken or ruptured seal will most likely tear the boot around the area which will allow dirt or otherwise to enter the area easier. Squirting grease is just a little too much, and it has to go somewhere. Wipe off the area, and do a visual on the boot.
