i just installed my speakers and am running them off a 4 channel amp. i ran 4 channel rcas back to it off my w505 deck. i wanted to adjust the fade a little but it wont let me go towards the back  it will give the front more sound but when faded towards the rear it goes quiet.

anyone have a simple fix?
yes, i double checked all connections

What amp? Could be that your amp has an input selector switch that needs to be set to 4 channel input and it's currently set to 2 channel input.

i guess i shoulda put down what im running.
i put in JL XR 650 csis in the front and XR650cxis in the rear.
right now they are running off of an Eclipse EA4000 amp.
ill run out and check again for any other switches i couldve missed

Didn't find the owners manual on the Eclispe site. From the pic of the amp, check your switches to make sure you are not using the crossovers since you did not list a sub. Swap the input's around to see if the problem follows the input swap.

i feel kinda bad now...
took out the deck again and found that i had the sub and the rear outputs swapped around:o:
its kinda wierd that on the back of the deck the sub and fronts are together and the rears are on a separate length of cord
thanks 6appeal

sorry about this thread
