First off, I have a 6.0 gasser and got it EFI tuned recently. I got most of the torque management removed in regular driving mode and all of it removed in the tw/haul mode. My question is, is it still safe to pull my 5-6k trailer loaded with my farm supplies, or am I asking for trouble? On rare occasions I pull our little 6225 john deere tractor, and I believe that total load is around 11k, is this also asking for trouble? Thanks for the help.

Kinda hard to say without knowing exactly what was changed in the tune...Have you contacted the person who wrote the tune for you?

I have sent him an email, and I'm still waiting on a reply. He is supposed to send me the logs and a copy of the actual tune, so I can post that up when I get them.

We tow 10k+ with our efi tuned 6.0 on a regular basis, but like previously mentioned it depends on what all was changed. Keep an eye on your tranny temps and use your head and you will be fine.
