I want to purchase an air impact wrench for removing/rotating tires on my LMM and my toyhauler. What size/ft lbs impact wrench do I need? This is all I will use it for and don't feel I will need an industrial strength $500+ impact wrench. Any recommended Mfgs. Also, I don't want to purchase a complete set of impact sockets so what 4 sizes of sockets do I need that would be equal to a standard lug speed wrench, these I should be able to find at a local pawn shop?
Any help will be appreciated.

PS - What torque should I use on my AR Mojave rims? Yes, I have a torque wrench.

Thanks for the info but I have an air compressor in my garage and would like to find a good deal on an air impact. Do you know what size the 4 sockets are that came with the cordless?

I beleave it says on their web site..The cordless in my situation works better cause my wife takes the truck and trailer all over the country and she can change a tire easier..I do know my lugs on my dually are 1 inch...

I have an older 1/2" chicago pneumatic one and it works great. Made in USA too.

Go get an earthquake from Harbor Freight, best 79.99 you'll ever spend. 650 ft lbs I think.
It ain't pretty nor the lightest but will get it done.

Don't go nuts tightening up your nuts, boys...IIRC 140 ft/lbs is factory spec. I used a 7/8" socket last time I rotated, b/c my brother in law had my 1/2" metric sockets.

Thanks for the info. I do believe I have decided on the IR 2135TI, now if I can find one for $50 like deemax I'll be happier than a flee in a dog pound. ;)
Also I went by a Sears store today and found a socket set for wheels for $40.

7/8's will work and 140 is the spec.
