I want to use Mobil 1 synthetic grease on my new truck for the ball joints, etc. The people at Mobil say it will be fine to start using the Mobil 1 grease as long as the grease that is in there now is a lithium complex and is NLGI Grade 2. The truck only has 850 miles on it. Is the GM grease that comes from the factory of the above criteria? Thanks for the help.
