I have a 2005 D/A with 1800 miles on it. If I change the transmission fluid and refill with TRANSDYN, will Allison extend my warranty? I know I've seen a thread reference this question, but forgot where it was. Also, if Allison does extend my warranty on the trans, will the Chevy stealer have to do the work??

I was told by a GM factory rep with the Diesel Div that doing the above would extend the warranty. I have not contacted an Allison dealer to confirm this.

Warranty will not change regardless of fluid used according to GM.
