It's been a while since I needed to R&R my batteries. I already took them out, but I thought I might as well make sure I do it the best way.

My alternator powers my pax battery, and my main fuse box comes off the drivers battery. So when I put them back in, should I(in order)?;

1) Connect both batteries with positive crossover
2) Connect drivers battery positive lead to main fuse box
3) Ground pax battery
4) Ground drivers battery

Remove is same order backwards?

I guess the main thing is ground comes off first, and goes on last?

Thanks

All you have to remember is (Neg) first off and last on. Do you brake the pos at the it's terminal ? If so I would do the fuse block first? Other then that put your pos on both terminals, then the negs. I usually use some old gloves to isolate the terminals. Vaseline works well to keep the terminals from corroding. The sun hasn't set up here yet tonight. The days are getting longer.:D

For anyone jumpering batteries please put your ground ( Neg) on a lifting eye or such away from the battery, not the neg terminal I have seen 3 batteries blowup not nice at all.
