At idle my lmm with 4' turbo back hisses like a jet engine taking off, but once in a while it sounds like a valve opens up and it deep and throaty but only for a few seconds and then it oes back to hissing? Why is this and is there a way to just keep it deep and throaty all the time?

The ECM asked the Turbo Vane Position Sensor to do a system test to make sure the vanes are functioning properly.

FYI, the Edge EVO Race tuner will make the hiss go away too...

EXACTLY!! Love that!!!

BTW, when its real cold out, after about a min. warm up, take off and it will sound deep like an LB7 for abot 20 sec. then the vanes kick in.
