i was planning to get 18X10 35/12.5 Toyo Open Country MT's until I stopeed by the shop whos installing mine and saw the same truck with 20's on 35. Gotta say I'm now debating if I should go to 20's. All the 20' pics I've seen make the tire profile look small but it person it really looked great. The only diff besides price is the ride quality is a bit stiffer. Not sure how much given it's relative. I still may go with the 18's because I like the xtra meat for towing but it sure looked cool!

Here is an example of some 20's. http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170&page=136&pp=10&highlight=show+ride And also scroll a little down to the middle of this page for more 20's. http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170&page=128&pp=10&highlight=show+ride And scrool down again to the grey truck in the middle of the page to see some 18's. http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170&page=119&pp=10&highlight=show+ride

thats a good lookin truck! Have you changed you're gears in it at all? it's a bout the same sidewall height ratio as a 18" on a 35"

what kind of lift does it take to run 37's?

what kind of lift does it take to run 37's?thanks, still have stock gears...from what I've been told is that I dont need to regear...

On my previous 03HD I had a 6"-8" CST lift and I was running 37x12.50x17 on 17" welds. They did have to trim the fender. With this new 12" lift I can clear 40's with no problem but I didn't want to run a big tire like that.

how much do the tires cost. I was looking for a 35x12.5"x18 and couldn't really find anything less than $350/per.

I all depends, what brand and tread pattern are you looking for? 350 each also seems a bit high to me too...

Well I've asked before where to get tires and/or what brand. This is my first lifted truck, so tires of this size are still a little foreign to me. Normally my vehicles lay the frame on the ground.

I check tirerack.com, and a few other odd-ball sites, and couldn't find anything reasonable.

20's on 35's look too "bling bling". Also like someone else said, the side wall is way too small and the ride is rougher. 18's look great. You still get the bigger rim look. 20's belong on 37's and 38's IMO.
